Stop Smoking

After 17 years of smokeless tobacco abuse, and multiple attempts to stop, I presented myself to NHIC for a tobacco cessation acupuncture treatment. The edge I needed to successfully quit was finally there. that day, June 7th, 2009 was the last day I used tobacco or nicotine of any kind. It has been over 4 months.

Allergies

I had severe allergies for many years and had to get allergy shots at least once per week to help with the runny nose, congestion, and sneezing. I tried acupuncture and it worked for me. Everybody is different so it may not work the same for all but it sure worked for me. After the initial treatments to get the condition under control I only needed to get a tune up treatment in the spring and in the fall. Dr. Flynn is warm and friendly and I have recommended many friends and family to him over the years.

Parkinson's

Two years ago, I was unable to sing and had a problem walking. It was found that I had Parkinson's. At my church in Lakeland another member also had it, but much worse. He at the suggestion of others went to a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, for treatment with Acupuncture. The results were impressive. I then made an appointment and had a treatment. After one session, I could now sing and walk with no problem. I discussed this with my pastor in Michigan and then did a search of the web for Battle Creek practioners, we found Dr. Greg Flynn and my Pastor visited him. Again good results, when I returned to Michigan in the spring, I visited him. I was most impressed by the business like atmosphere and friendly feeling when there. One thing that stands out for me is the attachment you develop. I think of my MD's as Dr. Jones but with my OMD's it is Dr. Greg or Dr. Chip. One thing that is strong in Dr. Flynn's office is he makes suggestions and tells you what is available, gives you info. and then accepts your decision. You will also find that there are lots and lots of illnesses and as many cures. I find that God gives us many ways to treat illnesses and many times one is not the only way. I find that I take the pills prescribed by my MD and the treatment suggested by my OMD. I have in the past suggested that a person visit Dr. Flynn and will continue to do so in the future.

Back Pain

I began going to Dr. Flynn about 1999 for severe back pain. He did away with the pain. I now go back a couple times per year for my back or other problems. He always fixes me right up. I won't say I didn't believe in acupuncture when I started but I was very skeptical but it was the last resort. I was very surprised that he took all of the pain out after years of having the pain. Dr. Flynn is not a pushy doctor. He is friendly and takes his time with you.

And he gets the job done.

Chemotherapy

I came to Dr. Flynn because of having gone thru chemotherapy and my body was weakened to the point of having to have help to get out of a chair. Following that the Doctor's put me on medicine to take for the next 10 years and I had such a reaction to it I had to stop taking it. My goal was to search out a way to be healthier and make my cells healthy again to fight disease and cancer. My daughter has been doing holistic medicine and finally got me to try this type of practice because it treats the whole body and not just a symptom. The treatment I received has helped me get back to a normal life style. I now have energy and strength to do things I couldn't accomplish for a couple of years. Dr. Flynn is so knowledgeable in all aspects of what he does. I have referred several of my friends to him. In fact, my husband could see what a difference Dr. Flynn was doing for me and started making appointments for himself. I was surprised at the different approach to treatment and how it worked. I had worked in a hospital and with doctors for 40 years and just never thought there was another way to treat illness. The treatment style is completely different from anything I've ever done in the past. I always thought you had to take medications to feel better. Dr. Flynn is so knowledgeable in all areas of treatment. He is patient and always listens to what you have to say. He put me on a certain vitamin regiment to help make my bodies cells and immune system stronger. Taught me different exercises to strengthen my body. I very much like my care with Dr. Flynn, it truly is a different approach of healing and taking care of your body and making it a healthier one.

Neck, Back pain and Fibromyalgia

I have degenerative disc disease in my neck and low back which caused extreme pain and immobility. I also have fibromyalgia which causes twisting and cramping of my muscles. The treatment helped realign my spine, relax muscles from fibromyalgia and herbal remedies have help me get off of prescription drugs. Dr. Flynn has taught me to listen to my body and treat myself with nutrition and exercise before the condition gets out of control. I appreciated the way Dr. Flynn listen to me and helped me to treat the problem not mask it with drugs.

Sciatic, Low Back and Foot pain

I had severe sciatic pain and since getting treatments from Dr. Flynn the pain has totally gone away. He has also restored my overall health. When Dr. Flynn treats you, you know that you are in the hands of a professional. His level of expertise is what keeps me going back.

Unable to Concentrate Especially in School

I brought my son to you because he was having some trouble concentrating in school. I was really surprised at how your treatments worked. I am impressed with how comfortable Dakota was at your office. He absolutely loved going in. You explained so much. He thought you were funny and enjoyed your sense of humor

Back pain, plantar fascitis, and PMS

Dr. Flynn fix everything was friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I was surprised that he could fix the plantar fascitis but I had an open mind and let him do his thing. Was a great experience. I refer family, friends and clients to him all of the time.
